We don't list prices for a simple reason: we prefer to work with you to give you the best deal possible.
It would be unfair to you, our customer, to set an arbitrary price based on past trends. Any time
a customer requests an engine quote from us, we pull out our pencils and sharpen them to ensure
you get the best deal possible. If you need an engine, please call us for a quote today!

A lot of people want to know how they tell if their Ford Crown Vic has or does not have an oil cooler. Most of the vehicles with oil coolers were sold as Police Cars or Taxis. Both of these vehicles are used for purposes that require frequent idling, which is difficult on an engine. Police vehicles are also theoretically supposed to be useable for "intercepting" which can require long duration high speed driving.
There are two ways:
- On the head, below the valve cover on the driver's side of the vehicle, there is an engine id tag. We can decode that.
- You can call your local Ford parts department with your VIN. They can bring up a build sheet and tell you.
